The recent invite from Tourism Malaysia Perak to join the Royal Belum Treasure Trove of Nature was definitely something that I needed desperately -- especially after all the madness that was the year of 2010. So much so, the anticipation of going into the forest to meet the Orang Asli, go rafting, see the Rafflesia and feed the Ikan Kelah at its sanctuary (among the activities organised) was so overwhelming that I couldnt catch a wink of sleep the night before the trip.
