Malaysia expected to reap RM168b from tourism
Los Angeles, USA -- Malaysia is expected to earn RM168bil from the targeted 36 million tourist arrivals by 2020 under the Malaysia Tourism Transformational Plan (MTTP), said Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.
He said tourism was the second largest foreign exchange earner and seventh largest contributor to the economy, contributing RM47.2bil to Gross National Income (GNI) in 2012.

Malaysia to strengthen position of Islam
Putrajaya, MALAYSIA -- Malaysia will remain steadfast in strengthening the position of Islam, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.

King, Queen perform Aidiladha prayers at National Mosque
Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah performed Aidiladha prayers at the National Mosque here Tuesday.

Malaysia should intensify tourism push in China

Agong Launches Sarawak Islamic Complex
Kuching, MALAYSIA -- The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Monday launched the opening of Sarawak Islamic Complex in Jalan P.Ramlee here.

“Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!” Hari Kemerdekaan is a national holiday which is celebrated on 31 August every year to commemorate the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule in 1957.
Traditionally, a grand and colourful parade will be held in the morning at the Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur for everyone to attend and celebrate this important occasion together.
Similar parades will also be held in every state

The biggest motorsports endurance race in Asia, the Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race (MMER) 2013, will be back for the 14th edition!
Each team will have three drivers who will race for at least 70 minutes before being allowed to switch.
Young motorsports enthusiasts will have a new way and new place to celebrate Malaysia’s Independence Day.

KUALA LUMPUR: According to a survey conducted by renowned international news network CNN on the World’s 100 best beaches, three beaches in Malaysia made it to the top 50.
The three beaches are Tanjung Rhu in Langkawi, Kedah (ranked at No.49), Juara Beach in Tioman Island, Pahang (ranked at No.21), and Perhentian Kecil island, Terengganu (ranked at No.13).

Plan to turn Bukit Kayu Hitam into tourist destination
Bukit Kayu Hitam, MALAYSIA -- The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has planned to develop Bukit Kayu Hitam at the border between Kedah and Thailand as a tourist destination.

PENANG, 18 May 2013 – International amateur golfers are all geared up to compete in the third round of the World Amateur Inter Team Golf Championship (WAITGC) 2013 in Penang today.
The four-day event sees 20 teams, comprising 68 foreign golfers and 12 Malaysians, pitting their skills against one another for a place in the grand final. A total of 12 teams are from Australia, two teams each from Thailand and Brunei, one

Aktiviti White Water Rafting melibatkan adrenalin rush yang tinggi, sangat mendebarkan dan menjamin kepuasan diri!
